The designs illustrate the layout of a public park from 1990 to 2020.
Overall, Central Park has undergone significant changes between 1990 and 2020. The addition of new entertainment facilities such as a cafe shop, a stage for programs and a museum of Local History. Meanwhile, the telephone booth was removed but the Buddha statue, the Krishna temple and the Children’s play area remained unchanged.
In 1990, there was an entrance at the bottom of the map with a telephone booth on the left. On the right – hand side, there were two shops and a koi pond. From the entrance, we can see a Buddha statue in the center of the map. Past the Buddha statue, the flower garden can be seen, which was located between the Krishna temple and the toilet. In the West of the park, there was a Childen’s play area.
In 2020, the entrance and the telephone booth were replaced by a cafe and a convenience shop. While, the original entrance was relocated to the east of the map. The original toilet was replaced by the Museum of Local History and a new toilet was built in the southwest. To the right of the flower garden, a stage for programs was added. Meanwhile, the Buddha statue, the koi pond, the krishna temple, and the Childen’s play area remained unchanged over the period.
