The two plan illustrate a building called “Tilden Airport”, and its surrondings from 1985 to 2015.
Overall, there has been increased a number of building on the map. One of the most noticeable constuctions was a jonhson’s farm, it was removed and then converted to the three different thing, including a runway two, a business park and a housing estate. Just below these, was constructed a light rail, and aninternational terminal was expanded in the west.
In terms of the tilden airport’s map in 1985, a runway had been lied in the west, and the three buildings named an international terminal, a domestic terminal and a car park were positioned one below another in order, respectively. Next to the international and the domestic terminal had been located the johnson’s farm in the right. Meanwhile, next to the car park were been airport support services and two factories.
Regarding changes in this airport, the runway was recalled to a runway one, and then the international terminal was expanded, but the other two constructions stayed the same. In the right side of the international terminal, the jonhson’s farm was transformed to a runway two, a business and a housing estate. Additionally, the constuctions, which were lied next to the car park’s right side, was also demolished and converted to a bus and the light rail station, the airport support services were relocated to a first factory, and a second factory also transformed to a hotel and a conference centre. Just above these buildings, the light rail was buit.
