The first pie chart demonstrates the marital status of the people in Canada whereas the second pie chart illustrates the marital status of the people who live in Australia. The numbers are provided as percentages in both charts.
Overall, the percentages of separated but not divorced and married couple groups contain the largest amount of percentages in both of the charts. Moreover, widowed and divorced groups in the pie charts share similar percentages. The same-sex marriage group is only shown in the pie chart of Canada.
It can be clearly seen that separated but not divorced groups share the largest percentages in both charts with 53% in Canada and 41% in Australia. Furthermore, in comparison between Canada and Australia, married couples percentages in Australia far more than in Canada by 17%. However, the never-married and widowed groups share the same percentages in Canada’s pie chart with 7% whereas in Australia’s pie chart, the widowed group is 1% less than Canada’s pie chart which makes it 6%.
