The two pie charts compare the contributions of different financial sectors in Malaysian economy over 15-years from 1995 to 2015.
Overall, the income from exports was highest throughout the period, while unspecified source of financial support remained same and accounted for the lowest contribution. Another noticeable point is that the tourism sector doubled over the period.
In detail, exports hold the leading share of financial income at exactly half in 1995. However, the proportion decline in 2015 and reached 45%. Followed by the petroleum, which accounted for 30 % in 1995 but it decreased exactly a quarter by 2015.
Conversely, the proportion of revenue from tourism sector was only 10% in the year 1995. Tourism generated considerable increase at one-fifth in 2015. The fundings from unspecified sectors was also 10% in 1995. But it remain unchanged over the 15 years and accounted for the lowest support in Malaysian economy.
