The two plans show two different years 2004 and 2014 for the City Library. Overall, The City Library in 2014 still contains the main parts that were shown in the City Library in 2004.
Besides fiction, non-fiction, children’s, and magazines which was called the general collection in 2004, a movies and computer games collection was added to the east of the magazines collection in the general collection section by 2014. Gift store and art gallery were in the south-west of the reference room in 2004. These were combined in one place to the southeast of the reference room by 2014. The academic journals were moved to be in the same room with reference.
Several things were added to the City Library by 2014. Than it was in 2004. A café was placed in the same place where the academic journals used to be in 2004 . North of the café an outdoor performance area was constructed. A computer media room was belt north the main entrance.
