The bar chart shows information about the figure of using water in Gulf countries 2000.
As can be seen, the percentage of water use in agriculture in Qman, UAF and Saudi Arabia is higher compared to domestic and industrial. In contrast, the value of domestic in Bahrain and Kuwait was higher as opposed to the remaining kinds.
Looking at the bar chart in more detail, Oman and Saudi used the most water in agriculture and both countries share the same value (about 80%), compared to more than 60% of Oman and UAE. Percentage of water use domestic in Qatar is comparable to UAE (30% of Qatar, 35% of UAE), that of Oman and Saudi was one-third of UAE (10% of Oman and 12% of Saudi). Using water in industrial was lowest in all four countries, the figure of Qatar was equal to Oman (8%) and that of UAE and Saudi was a small number (2%)
Percentage of water use of domestic in Bahrain and Kuwait was higher as opposed to agriculture and industrial of which the highest was Kuwait at more than 60% and the second was value of Bahrain at nearly 50%. Using water in Agriculture in Bahrain was twice as high as that for Kuwait. In contrast, proportion of industrial in Bahrain was twice as low as that for Kuwait (8% of Bahrain and 18% of Kuwait )
