The bar chart shows the proportions of water usage in three ways (domestic, agriculture, industrial) in Gulf countries in 2000.
Overall, it can be seen that Bahrain and Kuwait used a significant amount of water in domestic purposes, whereas Qatar, Oman, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia more supplied agricultural areas.
To begin, Bahrain consumption of water for domestic goals experienced nearly a half percentage, while Kuwait had more than 60%. At the same time, Qatar and UAE had nearly the same shares, with 20-25%. However, Oman and Saudi Arabia used less than 10% for domestic sphere.
In contrast, Oman and Saudi Arabia had equal share (83%) in water usage for agriculture. Similarly, both Qatar and UAE witnessed more than 60% of water consumption. Whereas, Bahrain saw almost a two-fifth. Following that, Kuwait had a similar share in both agriculture and industry, with 19%.
