Dear Tiana,
It’s nice to hear from you again, I hope you are doing amazingly well. I’m delighted to give you some feedback about my experience of being a transfer student while I was schooling.
I got admitted into University of Surrey in United Kingdom in the year 2025. During my one year of studying, I stayed in the school accommodation which was relatively very affordable and a close proximity to the main campus, where I received most of my lectures.
I really gained a lot of experience and cultural knowledge while leaving in the city of Surrey. It was quite a handful experience for me as someone who was adapting to the change in weather and how the education system works. It’s such a civilised country to live in, as there are opportunities for advancement and access to free medical services.
My year living in England, had a positive impact on my studies. One thing that stood out for me was the access to library at any hour with the help of a good security. Additionally, every student was assigned to a course coordinator which is ready to help and give you some vital information. Also, there was free access to mental health support, Incase of being overwhelmed with studies. I made sure I enrolled in all the resources and support I need by attending extracurricular talks and taking advantage of careers fairs too.
I hope this helps, and I am available when you need more information.
Best wishes,
Mary
