These two pictures illustrates the main changes which have taken place in the town of Wetherby bewtween 2000 and 2016 years.
In general, it appears that Wetherby has become a much more modern city, with far more facilities.
One interesting change is that the cottages with gardens have been re-constructed to a new bigger office block. In 2000, there was not any hotels, but a new hotel has been built on the land of house in gardens. Another striking change is that the old farmland in the west of the city has been knocked down to make way for housing complex. A completely new change is that the car park has been built on the shop’s land
If we look at the houses, they have been improved since 2000, and a range of blocks have been constructed. The south of the city use to be a area without any trees, but it has changed and now there are a green zone with lots of trees. The final interesting development has been the introduction of a techno park in the east of the city.
