Dear Surrey News,
I am writing this email to request a writing from your newspaper print to raise awareness on how traffic congestion situation get worse and we need an improvement on the local public transport system. My name is Hazel, and the congestion happens where I live, which is in 101 Ave, Surrey.
During peak hours, specifically at 9:00am, 100 Ave experiences a significant traffic congestion. Added to that, It creates frustration between local citiziens because the bus only comes every 30 minutes.
Due to this signifcant problem, it causes disturbance among our local community, as neither we cannot commute to any locations on time nor walking to the city centre.
From our prior discussion as a community, we suggest it is better to have more buses coming in our bus routes, so the wait time might reduce to less than 30 minutes for each bus. Additionally, adding more bus stops are also helpful to mitigate walking time for pedestrian reaching the city centre.
I would incredibly grateful if you take into account of my request and publish a journal about this problem. It is fine to not have an immediate solution, however we want to spread the awareness so that Trans Link – the publlic transportation corporation can take a look at this concern.
Thank you for this urgent request, hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Hazel
