The given line graph depicts the details concerning the fluctuation in Japanese average monthly income and the price of color TV and white & black TV during about the 20-year period.
Generally, it could be obviously witnessed that the average monthly salary in Japan exhibited a persistent upward trajectory from 1953 to 1973. On the contrary, the price of two kinds of TV sets experienced a remarkable decline throughout this period.
Upon closer examination of the data, both color TV and white & black TV reached the highest price at 200 Yen when they appeared in 1963 and 1953 respectively. By contrast, by the end of this period in 1973, Japanese average monthly income reached the highest level of 200 Yen.
Furthermore, the fluctuation of the monthly salary line was the biggest among the three lines, from around 20 Yen in 1953 to 200 Yen in 1973, almost twice the change in color TV. Besides, the fluctuation of white & black TV from 1953 to 1963 was sharper than that from 1963 to 1973, which dropped by 100 Yen from 1953 to 1963 and about 50 Yen from 1963 to 1973.
