Initially, the tomatoes are harvested by the farmers and being placed in a basket. After that, the harvested tomatoes are sorted into either usable or unusable before being moved to a factory, where other steps occur.
The fourth step includes removing unnecessary parts of the tomatoes like the stalk, the seeds and the skin. The subsequent stage is putting the tomatoes into a container following by grinding them until they become a liquid product. This liquid is then mixed with other ingredients such as sugar, vinegar and salt. Next, the resulting product is boiled, left sit for 2 hours before being poured into a bottle, which is then labeled. After being checked for quality, those bottles are packed and distributed to supermarkets. Finally, this ketchup is ready to be used.
