Overall, it can be seen that refrigerator and vacuum cleaner experienced a sharp increase throughout the period while the proportion who owns a washing machine fluctuates over the period. On the other hand, from 1920 onwards, the trend in number of working hours per household dropped.
In 1920, refrigerator started at the bottom from 0% until it reached the highest point at 100% in 1980. After that, the percentage flattened out from 1980 to 2000. In contrast, washing machine fluctuates throughout the period, started at 40% in 1920 and reached it highest point at 70% in 1970 and slightly fell by 10%, after that, it ended the year at 70%.
Regarding the number of housework spent per week, the trend showed a significant decrease over the period. In 1920, it started from at the highest point from 50% then it continously fell down until it reached the lower point at 10% in 2019.
