Two different charts were given, displaying information regarding dance classes in a town in Australia.
The first chart reports on where the dance classes scatter all over the town. Private studios can be discovered the easiest as they make up a whopping 48% of the total dance classes in town. Right behind them are school halls, where students have the option to participate in after school. They only make up 24% of the locations. In third place are community halls. The gap between community halls and school halls isn’t as noticeable with only a 6% difference. In last place are the college based studios. These studios make up a mere 10%.
The second chart offers an insight on the type of dance classes. The chart separates the classes by two different age groups, kids under 11 and kids whose age ranges from 11 to 16. Three different types of classes are provided by the chart. The three types of classes include ballet, tap, and modern. The most attended one is ballet with a total of approximately 900 students. The number of ballet students whose ages are 11 to 16 are almost double the number of those who are under 11. In second place are tap classes. The difference between students who are 11 to 16 and those who are under 11 isn’t as noticeable, with only a margin below 100. Modern classes are packed with students who are 11 to 16. However, students under 11 attend this type of class far less than the older students.
