Dear Mr. Star,

My name is Alexandr Kolo. Your name was given to me by Jack Smith. I was supposed to organize a farewell event for Steven Moore, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I am no longer able to do so. My wife, Stella, is sick, and I have to be at home this evening.

To ensure the event still proceeds smoothly, I have taken the following steps. My colleagues Mary and Adam can assist with the arrangements. They have already agreed to replace me. Mary created a similar party last year.

The activity will start in the Italian restaurant “Spartak” on Krasnaya Street, building 25, at 9 p.m. All invited are our colleagues and friends. Adam will greet guests and Mary will be responsible for the kitchen.

Regrettably, I need to take care of my wife, and I will not attend the gala evening. Please accept my apologies for that. I hope you understand me. If any problems arise, call me immediately. I would appreciate it if you could reply at your earliest convenience.
