Dear Sir,

I am writing to inform you about my left luggage in Colombo to Kandy train.

I was travelling to Kandy last Friday 26th of August, in Colombo Kandy evening train. It was a busy day at work and there was a mandatory meeting scheduled at 7pm on the same day. I decided to join the meeting online while travelling. At the beginning, meeting was scheduled only for 30 minutes but extended till 8pm due to some issues. Train reached Kandy railway station by 7.50pm while I was attending the meeting. Since it was Friday, the train was fully crowded I got down from the train with difficulty with the crowd. Soon after the meeting was over, I realized that I forgot my luggage on the train. Unfortunately, it has left the station already.

The luggage I left on the train was a Brown color medium size one with a gold color handle. It is 80cm in height and 50cm in width. There was a Key Tag named with my name.

I kindly request you to make necessary arrangements to find my luggage urgently. All my valuable belongings are left with that luggage. Please assign a person to search it and if found please contact me through my mobile no – 0772345689.
