Dear Naveen,
I hope this letter finds you and your family in great health and high spirits. I am writing to express my sincere apologies for not being able to host our family get-together in Chennai on the planned date.
I know how much we both looked forward to this reunion, and I was genuinely excited about the opportunity to catch up with you and your family. Unfortunately, I must inform you that my sister’s wedding has been scheduled for December 3rd in Pondicherry, which requires my presence and support as her brother.
The timing of the wedding is crucial because the groom will be moving abroad shortly after. As a result, our family decided to hold the ceremony earlier than initially planned. I truly regret any disappointment this may cause you, as I understand how eagerly you anticipated this gathering.
I would love to reschedule our get-together and suggest January 15th as an alternative date. I will be on vacation during the third week of January, and I hope this new date works for you.
Thank you for your understanding, and I look forward to your response. Let’s make our gathering happen soon!
Warm regards,
Praveen Ramu
