The line graph illustrates the number of occurrences of X disease in Someland from 1960 to 1995.

It is clear that the number of cases experienced significant fluctuations, with a dramatic growth followed by a sharp decline over the 35-year period.

In 1960, there were approximately 100 cases of X disease in Someland, and this figure remained stable for the next five years. As time passed, the number of sufferers from this disease started rising to 200 people in 1970. Gradually, this number climbed to a peak of 500 instances from 1965 to 1975 and remained stable for the next five years.

In contrast to the earlier increase, from 1980 to 1990, X disease showed a tremendous decrease to around 350 sufferers in 1985 and continued to reach nearly zero by 1990. This trend persisted to the end of the period in 1995, with a negligible number of cases reported.
