The given pie charts depict the information about how the global water distribute, and the table illustrate the proportion of the water usage for agriculture, domestic use, and industry in three countries including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Canada.
The general overview here is that salt water accounts for a majority of world’s water. The most fresh water is made up from ice and glaciers, and used for agriculture in Egypt, and Saudi Arabia while mainly used for industry in Canada.
According to pie charts, 95% of world’s water is salt water whereas 5% is fresh water. Moreover, Ice and glaciers produces 75% of fresh water, followed by 23% from ground water and 2% from surface water.
In addition to table, it is noticeable that both Egypt and Saudi Arabia use just under 85% of their fresh water resource for agriculture compared to domestic use and industry with the figures approximately 10% and 15% respectively. In the contrary, Canada uses 80% of country’s fresh water for industry but using nearly 10% of it for domestic use and agriculture.
