The data repressents the unemployment situation regarding Australia in 2012.
Overall, jobless people decreased in rural areas, causing the rates of employeed people to go up in the trends. However, in urban areas, there are more unemployeed individuals compared to those, who work.
In between first and second half of the year, unemployeement rate in urban areas rapidly increased, reaching 4%. Although, in the second to third half of the year, unemployeed people significantly decreased. Moreover, from third half to fourth half of the year, unemployment rate suddenly went up according to trends, reaching approximately 5%.
Meanwhile, unemployment rate in rural areas went from roughly from 6% down to 4% in the start to the second half of the year, respectively. Furthermore, from second half to the end of the year, unemployment rate experienced slight fluctuation, where it slightly rose in in the third half, but lowered down to 5% until the year has ended.
