Overall, the unemployment rate increased in urban areas fluctuatingly throughout the year, while the rate of redundancy decreased slowly in rural areas. The unemployment rate of both areas came together at the same point.

In urban areas, the percentage of joblessness began at 2.1 in first quarter of the year and reached at 4% in the second quarter of the year. Although in the third quarter the rate dropped again to 2% and climbed sharply to around 5% in the last quarter of the year.
