Overall, while some activities experienced significant growth, others suffered a decrease in the number of participants. Additionally, the film club consistently remained the most popular choice across a 20-year period.
Looking at the activities with upward trends such as the table-tennis club which demonstrated a significant growth. It started at around 16 participants in 2000, reached the same value as amateur dramatics [about 20] in 2010. And continued to surpass martial arts in 2015. It then reached its peak of around 54 by 2020, outperforming all other activities in terms of participants growth rate. Similar to table-tennis club, musical performance showed a significant growth from 2010 to 2020. Although it began with zero participants between 2000 and 2005. Turning to 2010, it gained around 12 participants and continuously grew to reach nearly 20 by the end of the period.
Moving on to other activities, the film club was the favorite activity during the period. In 2000, it attracted roughly 64 participants, although the number fell slightly to around 60 in 2010, it bounced back to approximately 66 by 2020. Martial arts members were recognized by fluctuating numbers, starting about 35 in 2000, dropping to nearly 30 in 2005, and reaching the highest number at nearly 40 in 2010 before returning to approximately 35 in 2020. On other hand, amateur dramatics suffered from a constant decline, as the number of participants continuously fell from 26 in 2000 to barely 8 participants by 2020.
