Dear Sir,

I am writing you to apologize for not being able to fulfill the task of starting my work next week.

Unfortunately, due to my poor health conditions for the past few days, I had to rush to a health center for consultation, and I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Hence I will have to start the treatment the following week.

Moreover, this illness was so daunting, especially taking into consideration the fact that I was advised by my doctor to go in for an operation as fast as possible to avoid the rapid spread of the sickness.

Due to the situation and the circumstances I decided to part take to this treatment next week. Hence to be precise I guest I would be able to begin work in 3 weeks taking all relevant informations form the health station.

I look forward to seeing you at the office.
