The bar graph compares the number of films rentals and sales from a specific store during the period of 2002 and 2011. Overall, there were some changes through 9 years. DVD sales reached the highest and blue-rays sales was at the lowest place.
The rentals were initially at the highest in 2002. However, in the following years, rentals faced the reduction from approximately 200,00 to about 55,00 in 2011. It decreased yearly and became the second to DVD sales in term of the amount of use. Likewise, VHS also witnessed a pronounced drop to 5,000 and then disappeared in 2006.
In comparison, DVD sales’ records were complex. In 2002,was just 47,000 and observed the changes through years. The rentals had the peak at about 215,000 in 2007. Unlike the item mentioned before, Blu-rays sales first introduced in 2007 and grew slowly many years after.
