The following table shows the percentage of lawyers of either genders working in distinct fields such as government business and private lawyer in the years 2001 and 2016.
In 2001 there was exact distirbution of female to male laywer in business with 14% each, and a overwhelming similarity in the rest of the industry with the biggest contrast being in government spaces and even there it was only a 4% difference.
Although in 2016 woman´s government percentage only sligthy rose by 1% , there was a clear shift of female laywers to jobs in business opportunities and to private individuals. The other remaining fields dropped sharply in numbers from 26% to 16%. The men on the other hand increased their presence in thoose other ocupations by 3%. However their distribuition in Buisiness remained the same at 14% and their choice to pursue government fell in favor by an entire 8%.
