Overall, women devoted significantly more time to housework than men, while men spent slightly more time on leisure activities. This pattern indicates a traditional gender division of daily tasks.

In terms of household activities, women spent far more time cooking and washing, at about 75 minutes per day compared to just 30 minutes for men. Women also spent more than double the time on clothing washing and ironing (around 25 minutes versus 10). The only task where men spent slightly more time was repair work, averaging about 20 minutes per day, while women spent roughly 10 minutes. Time spent on shopping was relatively similar, though still higher among women.

Regarding leisure activities, men dedicated more time to TV, radio, and video (137 minutes) compared with women (118 minutes). Both genders spent similar time reading books (18-19 minutes), but men also exercised slightly more than women, at 15 and 11 minutes respectively.
