The provided line charts illustrates a trend of the reasons why people moved to the capital city of a particular country based on a survey from 2000 to 2015.
Overall, four of the categories mentioned in the chart experienced an upward trajectory throughout the given period. However, for over 15-year, employment is the only category which rates is declining in the last decade. And, it is also clearly shown that study, as a reason for why people moving, is increased year on year and almost surpassed “employment” at the end of figures.
In 2000, employment is the common motivations for moving. Approximately 60.000 persons had this as their reasons and its rate increased to around 85.000 and 92.000 persons respectively in 2005 and 2010. But, from 2010 to 2015, the proportion gradually sunk into around 87.000 persons. On the other hands, study began at the lower number which is around 25.000 in 2000 and soared to 48.000 in the next 5 years. Thereafter, the number rose dramatically in 2010-2015 period and peaked at 87.000, similarly to employment.
For the last two categories, namely family or friends and adventure reason, both started at 10.000 in 2000. Even though both saw an upward trend, family or friend ended higher, surpassed over around 7.000 persons than adventure reason in 2015.
