The line graph illustrates the changes in the results of a surevey giving the reasons why people moved to the capital city, over a period of 15 years from 2000 to 2015. It compares four different categories and the units of measuremnent are in thousands.
At first glance, it is clear that the employement recorded the highest figures throughout the period, while the reason adventure has the lowest value overall, in addition some categories showed noticeable changes whereas others remained relatively stable.
For instance, in 2000, employement strood at approximately 60,000 thousands before increasing to around 80,000 in 2015. A similar upward trend can be seen in 2015, the figure for study rose to about 80,000 ranking the second highest categories. In contrast, the people who moved for family or friends remained stable fluctuating between 10,000 and 20,000. Meanwhile, adventure experienced a significant decline from 10,000 to roughly 9,000.
Overall, the graphs clealry shows how the trends of these categories changes over the given period.
