Dear Linda,

I sincerely apologize for my clumsiness on the train, which lead your laptop to malfuncation. I understand that your laptop is very importan for you since you have all your works and important documents saved in your laptop. I would like to offer my heartfelt apologies for accidentally damaging your laptop during the train journey.

Regarding how the accident occurred, unfortunetely it happened while I was on the phone, with my boss, while I was holding my cup of coffee on the other hand. One of the kid sitting besides me was moving, and on the same time train jerked so his leg hit my hand with coffee, causing me to loose my balance and spilling the coffee over your laptop.

I belive that I cannot bring your laptop in same condition as it was. But I am willing to help you to fix your laptop in anyway possible. I would like to offer you the repair cost for the laptop or even if it did not works after the reparing I would love to get you a brand new laptop.
