Dear Ikram,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to let you know that I will not be able to join you for the cinema trip this weekend. I am really sorry about this change, especially since we have been looking forward to it for a long time.

The reason is that I have an important school assignment that must be completed by Monday. Unfortunately, I only received the details recently, and it requires a lot of time and concentration. I have to stay at home to finish it, or I might not be able to submit it on time.

Instead of me, I would like to suggest that Wahid goes with you. Wahid is very reliable and easy to get along with, so I am sure you will enjoy spending time together.

I believe that Wahid will be a great companion because he has a good sense of humor and always makes situations more fun. He also loves watching movies, so I am certain he will be excited about the cinema trip.

Once again, I sincerely apologize for not being able to come. I hope you have a great time, and we can plan another trip soon.
