Dear Onik,

I hope you doing great. I want to tell you that I will not be able to go to cinema with you next Monday evening. I know you are going to get a bit disappointed. Let me just explain to you why I needed to change my plan.

Honestly, I’m really sorry, but I won’t be able to join it because I must to take care of my mother who’s currently ill and needs intensive care, so I need to stay at home to ensure her well-being.

However, it is better if I just give the ticket to our friends, Ani, so that he can go with you. I know you know her well since she was our classmate. Plus, I know Ani could use some entertainment and a pick-me-up, so I think this would be a great opportunity to put a smile on her face and lift her spirits.

I’m sure Ani would be a great companion for you to watch the movie with, as she has a similar sense of humor and loves discussing films. Plus, I know you two would have plenty to talk about and would have a great time together.
