Dear Mr. Zayed,

I am writing this letter to make a request to postpone a presentation, which I have to present at the end of this week. I am sick and was prescribed three days of complete bed rest by the doctor.

The presentation was about the clients’ engagement status, possible reasons for the delay in engagement completion, and how to overcome those delays.

Yesterday night, I went out with my childhood friends for dinner at a local fast food restaurant. That restaurant is well-known for its taste and hygienic food. We had a great time there. When I came back to my home, I felt severe stomach pain. I immediately rushed to the hospital and went to the emergency room. A medical examiner examined me and cross-checked my medical tests. The medical examiner mentioned that I had food poisoning and prescribed me three days of complete bed rest along with a week long course of medication.

I will be grateful to you if you can postpone my presentation until Monday.
