Dear Madam,

I am writing this letter with deep regret to inform you that scheduled move out to your apartment has been delayed to unforeseen circumstances. Just received a call back home few minutes back , that my father has slipped and fallen in the washroom.

As a result, he has suffered severe leg and back injuries to his leg. Doctor has advised for a 3 weeks of bed rest and would require immediate assistance during that period. Since I am the only son in the family and my mom having old age symptoms, they would require my presence during the mentioned duration.

Hopefully if everything goes well and planned , I will be back in two in the 3rd week of December and will be ready to move in on the day after the Christmas(26th December 2024) and occupy the apartment.
