Dear Mr. Smith,

I hope that letter finds you well. This is Sergey Pimenov, and I have an update about our agreement on renting your apartment. Unfortunately, I will not move there until I will solve personal issues, which came up a few days ago.

Regretably, I had an information from my parents about my grandfather, as he suffered a major heart attack. Fortunately, he is fine now, and at the clinic he is under a full care from a qualified specialists. Nevertheless, our family should be in touch with him, as it could change quite quickly. That is why I ought to temporary postpone my plans to move into your apartment.

As soon as we will be sure about the stable condition of my grandfather, I will let you know. I hope that it would be no longer than a week. After that, I will definitely move into an apartment, as we agreed beforehand.

I want to give you my apologize for inconvenience, and thank you in advance for your patience!
