The line graph provides details about population growth trends from 1970 to 2020. In 1970, there was a lowest population in city. On the other hand, the largest of population growth happened in 2010.

First of all, the population in my city was around 2.2 million people in 1970, which was the smallest trend compares the others. Ten years later, the graph showed slowly increase and reached 2.3 million people in 1980. Additionally, there was slight rose to achieve 2.5 million and 2.7 million people in 1990 and 2000, respectively. Furthermore, the graph reached peaked trend in 2010 when population trend was about nearly 3 million people across the city. Therefore, this achievement became a biggest trend over the last 50 years since 1970. But, after the highest achievement is shown, the population trend decrease slowly and became approximate 2.7 million people in 2020.

All in all, population growth has experienced increasing trend for 50 years in my city, and it obtained the largest trend in 2010.
