Dear Mr.Smith,
I am writing to you to request you to change my current selected course as I am not satisfied with it. I have recently joined computing engineering course at your institution but have failed in attempts to develop a keen interest in this field.
Actually, after completing my secondary education, I was suggested by one of my respectable teachers to choose IT industry since this stream has been flourishing these days. Owing to this, I selected computing engineering, but, to my dismay, I have been facing great difficulties in learning computer language and other technological aspects. Therefore, I think it would be better to switch to another course.
After making self-analysis I came with decision to choose English literature course as it feels more appealing to me. Be selecting a graduation course in literature, I would not only follow my passion in reading books, but will also find respectable and interesting job as English becomes a global language. Thus, I would request to change my course so that I can start my studies as early as possible.
