Dear Mr. Kamalanathan,

I writing this letter in regard to complain about changing room in the sports centre. Last Monday I visit your sports centre for participate in national football tournament. This football match is most expected one by the people therefore numerous teams participate in that match. Firstly, The problem is when there are lot of teams comes to play in the centre but you have only two changing rooms for all the team members so build more rooms, it is beneficial for all the teams. Then I face some issues in the changing rooms, First one is the doors are difficult to open when it close from inside and the rooms lights didn’t work so the room is fully dark when I go to change my clothes in night time as well as there is no hanger to hang my cloths while I am changing my dresses.

Solve this all problem in the changing rooms. It can help for all team members.

Yours truly,

Sharun Mano

Task Response

The letter addresses the task by identifying the problems with the changing rooms and suggesting solutions. However, the letter includes some irrelevant information (mentioning the national football tournament) and the tone could be more developed to express feelings about the problem more effectively. To improve, focus on elaborating on the impact of the issues and using more specific language to convey dissatisfaction.

Coherence & Cohesion

The letter's organization is somewhat clear, but the flow of ideas could be improved. Consider using more transitional phrases to connect your points and enhance the overall coherence. For example, you could use phrases like 'In addition to this' or 'Furthermore' to link related ideas. Also, ensure each paragraph focuses on a single main point to improve clarity.

Lexical Resource

The vocabulary used is basic and lacks the range needed to express your concerns effectively. Try to incorporate more specific and varied vocabulary related to the issues in the changing rooms. For instance, instead of saying 'the doors are difficult to open,' you could say 'the doors are stiff and hard to maneuver.' Expanding your vocabulary will help convey your message more precisely.

Grammatical Range & Accuracy

The letter contains several grammatical errors that affect clarity. Pay close attention to verb tense consistency, subject-verb agreement, and correct article usage. For example, 'I writing this letter' should be 'I am writing this letter.' Proofreading carefully and focusing on basic grammar rules will help improve accuracy.
