Dear Uncle,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter to inform you that I am planning to visit Edmonton, Alberta, for a short trip, as I need a break from work, and I have decided a short trip outside the city.

Firstly, I want to inform you that I am visiting to you next week on Tuesday. I am planning to see famous attractions there and I will stay in Edmonton for 5 days.

Secondly, I would like to ask if my friend and I can stay at your home, as we are unfamiliar with the area and it would be difficult for both of us to find accommodation upon arrival. We could stay in a hotel as well, but if we stay with you, it will be beneficial for us.

Finally, I am happy to pay for that week, as I do not want to become a burden on you. I know you are a single person who earns for your household and needs to take care of everyone in your family.
