Dear Aunt Nunzia,

I hope this email finds you well.

I have great news! Do you remember the paper on the intersection between social justice and architecture that I was working on two months ago? Well, it was accepted to a conference in Basel! I am so excited to have the chance to present my work in front of a cohort of experts on the topic. The conference will take place on September 4, so I am planning to be there from September 2 to September 7, and maybe spend some time with you and uncle Carlos.

I was wondering if I may stay at your place since I am struggling to find a hotel during those dates. I received a scholarship from my school to cover travel expenses, so I would be happy to pay for accommodation and contribute to food costs.

Let me know if you think this is doable. Either way, I am really looking forward to seeing you and uncle Carlos!
