Dear Abuja Bookclub Members,

I am writing to inform you about the upcoming change in our meeting venue, due to the scheduled renovation in the community centre. We have been asked to vacate the premises for a month, in order for the work to be conducted smoothly and within the expected delivery timeframe.

As a result, our meetings starting from the 1st of May to the 30th will be held at Mammbah Cafe in Maitama. We shall still maintain our regular meeting frequency and time (Mondays and Fridays, 5 PM-7 PM). While I understand that the Community Centre’s central location was convenient, Mambahh Cafe offers several advantages that we believe will enhance our meetings and overall club experience.

Mammbahh Cafe offers a host of new resources that would help in fostering group cohesion and increasing our membership. Firstly, they have a karaoke machine and they organise theme nights for prizes to be won. Secondly, a host of community groups like ours are utilising Mammbahh as a temporary location, which presents an ample opportunity to advertise and gain new members. Lastly, the venue offers complimentary pastries and drinks for community groups during meetings.
