Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to formally announce my resignation from my position as a waiter at your restaurant. I want to express my profound appreciation for the support and guidance I have received while working at your company, that provides customers with its unrepeatable and great meals. Recently, I have been offered an exciting opportunity to work at the city’s best training centre, which I have been waiting for a long time to accept my request to work there. I would really appreciate it, if you will provide me with a letter of reference so that it will give my mirror reflection to my new employer. Just one more thing, I want to ask you is to give me my salary earlier, and I will be able to resign my current occupation faster.
