As you know, you’ve lent me your book this past week. I am writing this letter to let you know that my son accidentally spilled his milkshake on your book. I was taking a shower when the accident occurred. I would like to apoligize regarding my sons accidential behavior. I am fully aware of how meaningful this book is to you. Thus, I would like to pay for the expenses if you decide to get a new book. However, I will also send your original book in the mail tomorrow.
