Dear Sir or Madam

I am writing to thank you for giving me the opportunity to volunteer at the local animal rescue centre. Since I am due to start next month, I wanted to confirm the start date. I am available from Monday to Friday between 9Am and 5PM.

I genuinely like the idea of animal care. I have already worked with Perroayuda Welfare Association in the past, where my main duties were to take care of the animals who were rescued from the streets and make sure they are healthy. I truly used to enjoy my time there, and therefore, look forward to this opportunity as well.

I would also like to enquire whether I require any training before I start and whether I need to bring any equipment. If so, I would like to arrange everything before my first day.
