Band 6+: You have been offered a place at a university and wish to find suitable accommodation. Write a letter to the accommodation officer including the following information: the type of accommodation you wish to find some details about yourself any special requirements you may have and any other relevant information.

Dear sir,

My name is Amandeep Kaur. I recently got confirmation that I have gained a place in the Business Administration course at your university, starting this September. I am writing this letter to you to arrange the accommodation. My registration number is 147698.

I understand that you offer accommodation both on and off campus. The latter costing between $40 to $70 per week. I would prefer to stay off campus in a house with other students, each student having their own room, ideally within 30 mintue walk to the university. I have budgeted for rent of $50 per week. If possible, I would like to remain in the same accommodation for the entire duration of my course, i.g. two academic years.

I do not have any speacial requirements. As I am keen rugby player, I would prefer to live in with students of my same age group(I am 27) interesed in Sports. I donot mind whether other students are on same course with me or not.

I would be greatful if you could send me some details of two or three choices at your earliest convience.
