Dear Sir,
I recently received a letter from the bank informing me of a $70 bank charge that would be going off of my account as a result of an overdraft of $240. However, this is incorrect so I am writing to you to inform you what happened this can be rectified.
For over 20 years now, I have been banking with Royal Bank of London. Your diamond credit card is my card of choice for all of my online purchases. Wile making a purchase on Amazon last week, I received a message from the banking application notifying me of an error with my transaction. As a result, I then re-attempted the purchase, but to my dismay, I then received an SMS confirming that the first transaction had actually been successful and that the amount had gone off twice.
As this error was not a result of my own fault, I would like to request that this transaction be reversed and that the $70 fine also be cancelled. I would be very grateful if this could be attended to in a timely fashion as I will be travelling on vacation soon.
Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Maria
