Band 5+: You have learned from a news article that a real estate company is going to build a shopping center near your home. However, you think that the shopping center should not be built there. Dear sir/mam,

I am writing to request you that the shopping centre should not be constructed in my neighbourhood as it can negatively affect the area.

Actually, I live in The steels Avenue and i read an article in the newspaper ‘The Hindustan times’ that your real estate company is going to build a big shopping mall in my area.

As nearby my home, there is only one park and all the people prefer to go there with their children to enjoy natural beauty and get fresh air. If the shopping complex would be constructed there, the surroundings will be become more crowded which can cause more hustle and bustle. Moreover, individuals cannot go anywhere close to their home to see beauty of nature. As a consequence, this development negatively impacts the residential area.

According to my opinion, instead of making the mall in a housing area, city council should develop it on the main roads or nearby the highways so that it could not resist people to do their daily tasks.
