Dear Sir,
I am writing to formally file a report for a lost item, as your contact information was provided on the official company website.
Unfortunately, I have misplaced my iPhone 16. The phone is matte black and enclosed in a pink striped phone case, with a matching pink keychain attached to it. My home screen picture is of me, (I have olive skin and dark brown hair with pink highlights), and my golden retriever, Leo.
I believe I lost it while travelling on the 2 o’clock train from Chicago to New York City on Friday the 15th, as I only noticed it missing once I had disembarked from the train and passed through the security gates. However, by this time I was unable to turn back as the train began boarding new passengers and I did not possess a valid ticket that would allow me re-entry onto the platforms. Shockingly, I failed to locate a railway employee who could assist me with this issue, leaving me no other option but to leave the station without my phone.
Thus, I would appreciate if you can provide more information about the protocol for lost items. I recognize this may not be standard procedure, however, if it possible to send an official to search the train and locate my iPhone that would be my preferred course of action. Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,
Tiff
