Dear Sir,

As a member of the team working in the Drafting Department, I am writing to you concerning the desktop computers currently installed in our office. As you are aware, the company has made no new IT upgrades for the last five years, and I am convinced that this is having a serious negative impact on work performance, as drafting software requires better CPU performance as well as an HD monitor.

For example, I have noticed that the drafting software takes a long time to run, which usually does not take this much time on normal desktops. Besides that, during drafting work it sometimes freezes for a long time. It then takes a while to return to normal condition. Since there are many projects pending at this time, it has become extremely difficult to meet important deadlines.

Therefore, I would propose that the company consider updating its entire IT equipment, including the replacement of existing desktops with the latest models, so that we can provide on-time service to our clients and support the company’s strong financial performance.
