Dear Mrs. Smith,

My name is Anvi Gupta, I live in room no. 501 in your hostel. I am an international student in business general course. I want to bring to your attention towards an incident that happened with me yesterday.

I came back to my hostel room last night after my exam. As soon as I returned, I saw all the things were not at their original place. It didn’t take any time for me to notice that some cash from my room around two thousand dollars is missing. Initially, I was perplexed but after thorough search, I was reassured that the cash was missing.

However, I immediately contacted the guard of the floor about the theft. But it felt like my complaint fell on deaf ears. I request you to kindly take an immediate action. I would highly grateful to you as being an international student the money is really important to me. Otherwise, I have to bring this matter to the dean’s knowledge.
