Band 7+: You live in a room in college which you share with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement, and you find it very difficult to work. Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In the letter, • describe the situation • explain your problems and why it is difficult to work • say what kind of accommodation you would prefer Write at least 150 words. Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to raise a concern regarding my present accommodation arrangement. Due to the disturbing nature of my roommate, it is difficult for me to concentrate on my studies.

When I enrolled in this college in the middle of the term, due to the unavailability of private rooms, I agreed to share a room with another student, hoping it would be nice to connect with new people. In the beginning, everything was perfectly fine with my roommate; we shared our daily experiences and helped in studies as well.

However, over the past few weeks, I noticed a change in her behavior. She is creating a disturbance while I am studying. She talks loudly while on a call with her friends; moreover, she even plays loud music at night. I discussed with her that I could not focus on my subjects because of her activities many times, but nothing has changed yet.

I request you to kindly have a look into this matter, and if available, I would like to move to a private room.
